Support TriCity Family Services'
Adopt-a-Family Holiday Program

Looking to give back to those in need this holiday season?  Through our Spirit of Christmas program, we provide gifts, food and holiday cheer to our client families in need.

At this time, we are in greatest need of:

Gift Cards
Offering the most choice for our clients, gift cards are a highly requested item in our Spirit of Christmas program.  The most frequently requested are:

  • Grocery stores

  • Gas cards

  • All-purpose stores, such as Target, Meijer and Wal-Mart

  • Home improvement stores, such as Home Depot and Lowe's

  • Family clothing stores, such as Kohl's and Old Navy

  • Popular teen clothing stores, such as H&M, Hollister and Aeropostale

Food Baskets
In addition to gifts, we try to provide each client family participating in the Spirit of Christmas program with a bountiful food basked for their holiday meal.  Food baskets contain non-perishable holiday meal fixings and other special treats to help our client families to stock the pantry, and enjoy a good holiday meal.

Some creative ideas for food sponsors are to include candles, table decorations or cooking containers in their food basket.  Donors have also used laundry baskets, or large storage containers to hold all food and supplies, so client families who receive them can put the container to use in their home as well.

If you are interested in donating gift cards or food baskets for the Spirit of Christmas program, email or call:
