Thinking Good, Feeling Great Workshop

Thinking Good, Feeling Great is for adults who struggle with worry and anxious thoughts.  This 6-session workshop will give participants practical tools to apply to daily life.  Members of the licensed clinical staff of TriCity Family Services will facilitate the workshop and teach participants effective cognitive tools to reduce worry and anxiety.

Some characteristics of worry and anxiety are:  racing or pounding heart, butterflies in the stomach, headaches, sweating, racing thoughts, feeling "keyed up" or nervous, inability to sit still or concentrate, constantly thinking about something over and over, and troubling thoughts. All of us have automatic negative thoughts.  The difference is how many of these thoughts we believe and allow to affect our mood. The basis to the Thinking Good, Feeling Great theory is that what you think causes your mood to be either positive or negative.
