 Mission
TriCity Family Services (TCFS) is a private, not-for-profit,
human service agency serving the community members and
organizations of central
Kane County. The agency is dedicated to strengthening people and
building community through the provision of quality, affordable
counseling, youth crisis intervention, prevention, and early
intervention services that promote sound mental health and
effective family functioning. As a community-based agency, TCFS
promotes service excellence, honesty, hopefulness, personal
responsibility and respect for others. .
Vision
TriCity Family Services is committed to assuming a
leadership role in the provision of community-based, family centered
behavioral health services in the Mid-Fox River Valley. As we
expand and enhance our responsiveness to the needs of our community,
we will strive to:
Empower individuals and families to
recognize and use their personal strengths and talents to their
fullest potential as we assist them in resolving those crises that
lead them to us;
increase our accessibility to those in need
by continuing to extend our services into clients' homes,
work-settings and schools;
maximize the use of existing resources by collaborating
with other health care providers in the design and delivery of
needed services;
address the behavioral health needs of our clients
across the family life cycle; and;
create and deliver programs designed to prevent
the occurrence of substance abuse and mental health problems and promote
individual and family wellness.
Quality
TriCity Family Services is committed to providing
services of the highest quality to its clients. The Agency's
Quality Improvement System (QIS) is the vehicle through which TCFS
fulfills this commitment. Quality improvement is not a
program; it is a philosophy that embodies our mission, vision and
core values. The QIS provides the operational framework within
which TriCity Family Services continually improves the efficiency
and effectiveness of its services while enhancing the health or
our organization.
