INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY COUNSELING
CHILDREN AND TEENS
We provide family-oriented, confidential counseling to children, teens, and their families. Experienced professionals who know the special needs of children and teens help them work through concerns such as:
Thoughts of Suicide
The ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) Track will help parents assess and begin to treat ADHD in their children. In a series of 8 counseling sessions, a TriCity Family Services therapist, along with the child and parent(s), will review symptoms and complete an assessment. The assessment may also include consultation with a TriCity Family Services psychiatrist.
If a diagnosis of ADHD is made, subsequent counseling sessions will teach clients about ADHD, suggest behavioral and medical interventions that may be used, and begin to help the child and family develop the skills they need to address ADHD. If a different diagnosis is made, recommendations for ongoing treatment or a referral to other services will be made. At the conclusion of the 8 sessions, additional services and referrals will be offered.
ADULTS and SENIORS
