Christine Bruun, Ph.D.

Chris Bruun joined TriCity Family Services in September 2010 after a twenty-year career teaching psychology at Rockford College. She also previously worked for ten years as a clinical psychologist in the mental health division of the DuPage County Health Department.

Now “retired,” Bruun has enjoyed returning to her roots as a therapist and working directly with adults, seniors, and couples. Her use of cognitive therapy provides clients with fresh perspectives and new ways of thinking about themselves and their problems.

Bruun has a Master of Arts degree in history from Ball State University and a Doctorate of psychology from Northwestern University.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, biking, word games, and cooking.
