Lou began working as a therapist almost 30 years ago. During that time he has provided individual, family, and group therapy to a wide range of clients, and was the founder of a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy group. He worked for the Mercy Center for Health Care Services as an Adolescent Counselor, Social Worker, Family Therapist, and Staff Psychologist. Lou worked as a part-time Clinician/Consultant for TriCity Family Services from 1996 to 2000, and rejoined the agency staff in March 2009.
Lou became a therapist based on a simple desire to help, and his experience has been even more satisfying than he could have imagined. Lou especially enjoys helping clients overcome problems with depression, anxiety, anger management, and relationships that they weren’t even sure were solvable.
Lou has a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University, and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
He has been married for 31 years and has raised three wonderful children into successful, independent adulthood.
