Jessica Kolka joined TriCity Family Services in 2021 as a part-time therapist. In 2015, she obtained her Masters Degree in social work from Aurora University, with a clinical specialization, and also holds a Professional Educators License obtained from Aurora University in 2018.
Previous experiences have led Kolka to specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families needing support with emotional regulation, anxiety, and depressive disorders. She is also trained in the Family-Based Treatment for Eating Disorders Program, providing support to individuals suffering from eating disorders.
Building strong therapeutic rapport with her clients by providing a safe space for them and actively listening to their needs, Kolka has a strengths-based approach when working with individuals and families and wants her clients to feel empowered in achieving their goals.
