Rehna Becker received her Master’s of social work from Aurora University and is a licensed social worker. She is a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP) and has completed basic and advanced level Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) trainings through EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). Advanced level trainings include EMDR specifically for attachment, complex trauma, addictions and sand tray therapy. Her clinical specialties include PTSD, trauma, complex trauma and attachment.
Becker enjoys working with people of all ages, especially individuals who have lived through traumatic experiences. Her goal is to help clients build the skills necessary to safely explore how life experiences have negatively impacted beliefs about self, relationships, and the world in general. Becker works in collaboration with clients to heal past wounds and develop a new self-narrative. Through her work, she has developed a firm belief that all people are capable of moving beyond their past in order to fully engage and thrive in the present.
In her spare time, Becker enjoys playing and watching sports of all kinds, yoga, reading, and being with family and friends. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and EMDRIA.
