Suellen Shively-Mack joined TriCity Family Services as a part-time therapist in 2017 after working at several other outpatient counseling agencies, including Kairos Counseling Center and Hanover Township Youth and Family Services. She has been a therapist for 20 years, focusing on individual, couple, and family therapy. Shively-Mack holds a master’s degree in social work from The University of Chicago and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She is fluent in Spanish and provides therapy in both Spanish and English.
Shively-Mack’s training includes particular focus on family systems and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Much of her professional experience has involved working with children and adolescents and their families, addressing concerns related to topics such as parenting, divorce, communication, and school issues. She also enjoys working with individuals facing concerns related to depression, anxiety, self esteem, and stress management. Shively-Mack utilizes a client-centered approach, providing support and guidance while building on the individual and family strengths to resolve the client’s concerns.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, yoga and spending time with friends and family.
