Education | Skills
· Working knowledge of eating disorders and eating disorder treatment, preferably experienced in the FBT (Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders)
· Master’s degree in a mental health discipline plus three year’s post degree experience in a mental health setting
· Licensure in the State of Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT)
Full Time Opening
The Outdoor Recreation Program Coordinator / Therapist works as a member of the agency’s clinical staff team providing a range of clinical services including mental health assessment/treatment planning, case management, referral and linkage, as well as crisis intervention. In addition to providing therapy to all ages of clients, the position takes a leadership role in organizing, planning, supervising and participating in the agency’s Outdoor Recreation Program which is comprised of several day-trips and outdoor, overnight activities for youth.
Education | Skills
· Master’s degree in a mental health discipline
·The individual serving in this position must be physically capable of: paddling a canoe in open water and in river conditions; portaging a lightweight aluminum canoe over rugged portage trails of considerable length; carrying packs weighing up to 50 lbs. over portage trails; assisting in water rescue operations.
