The Director of Development is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all of the agency’s fundraising, including donor cultivation, fundraising efforts, public relations, marketing, capital campaigns, and grant writing. Working in collaboration with the Executive Director and Board of Directors, the Director of Development assumes a leadership role at the agency, helping to generate the revenues necessary to sustain and develop agency programs and services. Performance Requirements

  • Provides assistance to psychiatric team and clinical team
  • Contacts and follows-up with clients or parent/guardians of clients, pharmacies, the State of Illinois, and the psychiatrists regarding facilitation of medication and medication refills.
  • Obtains height, weight, pulse, and blood pressure from client at the start of their psychiatric appointment and records information in the client’s case record. Complete billing slip for client when applicable.
  • At the request of the parent/guardian of client, completes Medication Administration Consent Form for schools.
  • As required, provides back-up to agency receptionists, answering phones, greeting/checking-in clients, and accepting fee payments.

Additional Requirements Related to Working Conditions

  • Hours: M, TR, F (9am-5pm); T-W (1-9pm).
  • The employee in this position must have his/her own transportation to facilitate occasional trips to vendors, training events, etc.
  • A minimal amount of carrying supplies and equipment is required.
