What to Expect

TriCity Family Services and signWhen you call us

When you call TriCity Family Services during regular business hours (Monday through Thursday 9am-9pm, and Friday 9am-5pm), your call will be promptly answered by a friendly auto attendant who will direct you to dial 1 for new client services.

We are proud to offer therapy services in both English and Spanish.

Your call will be directed to our bi-lingual Intake Coordinator who will ask you to provide your basic contact information, your insurance information (if applicable), and information about the needs you have and the services you are seeking, a family and medical history, and your availability for scheduling counseling sessions. To ensure that we can provide you with the best service and match you with the best therapist for your needs, this call may take 20 to 30 minutes. At the completion of this call, the Intake Coordinator will send you an invitation to our Patient Portal, where you will then complete your client packet. You will have 3 business days to complete your client packet in the Patient Portal.

Clients who are eighteen years of age or older must contact TriCity Family Services personally to provide intake information and to schedule appointments. Clients under the age of eighteen may have their parents or guardians provide this information.

For your safety, if you are facing a crisis situation, please call 911 immediately.

Waiting RoomWhen you complete registration

Once your Patient Portal paperwork is completed, you will receive a call from our Registration Coordinator to complete the registration process. The Registration Coordinator will review client information, client rights, HIPPA, your insurance information (if applicable), and set your sliding fee scale. Based on your availability, you will then be scheduled for your first therapy session. This call may take 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

At your appointments

Appointments with your therapist will be scheduled in advance. Weekly or bi-weekly sessions are recommended in order to build upon your progress and achieve success.
